MEET OUR STUDENTS IN INDIA
We work with children in rural communities who struggle to keep up in school and are likely to drop out. We believe that inspiring education can change their lives so we invest our time in family support, empowerment programmes and free literacy classes in areas of great need.
My name is Jit Sahani.I study in class 8 and the name of my school is Shaktinagar Boys' School.I have been with RISE for 4 years.I have learnt a lot from coming to RISE classes.Before I didn't even know the vowels and consonants but I've been taught a lot and I really like my RISE teachers. Previously I didn't do well in exams but now I know Bengali I get good marks. I really like playing football
