RISE is dedicated to serving the needs of a key few groups of beneficiaries, with a goal to develop their perceptions, improve their lives and increase the value of education and global citizenship.
YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE UK
RISE assists young people as they become agents of social change so that they can not only develop skills and adopt higher aspirations for themselves, but do so by empathising with and empowering their peers.
IN ONE YEAR,
a student gets
- Experience of running their own social enterprise
- Building relationships with students in rural India
- 10 engaging workshops
- Interaction with business volunteers in half of the workshops
- POW! event which will give insight into successful business and exposure to corporate volunteer mentoring
- Enterprise Challenge week to put the skills into practice
- Dragons' Den event where they will present their learning infront of a high-profile panel
- Life Skill development
- Global and Self-Awareness
- Motivation and Higher Aspirations
